This annual chip-timed one-mile race for all ages marks its historic 42nd running as the kickoff to the Twilight Independence Day Parade. The event is also part of the Calumet Striders 2026 Gold Cup Series.

42nd All-American Mile Run

<h3>Welcome back runners to the annual Fallen Heroes 5 Miler.</h3>
Come out and run the through the amazing streets of downtown Fredericksburg. The starting location will be held at James Monroe High School. The race is sponsored by the Fredericksburg Fallen Heroes, a local non-profit organization that provides support to the veterans and first responders in need of assistance in the local community. 
This is the 7th race in the Coldwell Banker Elite Grand Prix series in conjunction with the Fredericksburg Area Running Club.
The race will begin at James Monroe High School at the track.
Packet pick up: Friday, July 3, 2026 Time: 1-6 p.m.

Packets will also be available the day of the race between 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at the parking lot of James Monroe High School. Please arrive early to retrieve your packet to be ready to start promptly. Race will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Fallen Heroes 5 Miler

The 2026 Stewartville Summerfest Run/Walk consists of three opportunities for runners, joggers, and walkers.  There is a Five-mile course, a Three-mile course, and an opportunity for the truly brave to run both the five-mile and three-mile routes, back-to-back!  Our Five Mile event is proud to be a member of the Rochester Running Club's Grand Prix Series. The Stewartville Summerfest Runs start and end in Stewartville's beautiful Florence Park.  The course covers multiple running surfaces including city streets, paved bike trail, gravel road, paved highway, grassy meadow, and woodland traveling through Meadow Park, the always stunning Bear Cave Park before finishing in Florence Park, near the pond.  Participants are not on any one surface for more than a half a mile at any one time.  The Stewartville Cross Country Booster Club use the funds raised to donate to local youth groups and organizations each year as well as support the Stewartville High School Cross Country teams.

<h5>The Vineland Grand Prix is South Jerseys only free race series. This series is family friendly, beginner friendly, and welcomes all paces. This series is a long-standing summer tradition in the city of Vineland.</h5>

In order to maintain a safe environment for runners, we will be setting registration limits for the series, meaning we will only allow a certain number of signups each night. If you have participated in 3+ series since 2020, you may be on the priority runner list. Check your email or contact us below to confirm. Priority registration opens 5/25 - General registration opens 6/21.
ADDITIONAL CHANGES: 
<ul><li>The initial registration limit will be set at 250 for the first night. Limits for the other 4 nights will be determined later.</li><li>If you are pre-registered but do not show up for the first race, your registration will be deleted and you will have to register again.</li><li>Race day registration may be limited, or even closed by race day, depending on the current limit. Vineland Grand Prix XC Series

Western Arkansas Runners is honored to be able to carry on the Annual Memorial Run honoring BRENT MORRISON who was an avid runner in the River Valley as well as the Hot Springs area.  This year will mark the 11th year that a run of some form has been held and along with honoring Brent, we will also be honoring runners whose life's have been taken too soon. Run in honor of that runner you knew who is no longer with us.  Our Age Group awards are always an extra special treat and all runners will receive a finishers award as well as food, music and runner comradery afterwards !!! A portion of the proceeds will go towards our clubs plans to host a Jr. Run Clinic, Memorial Site for Brent, with the remainder to go towards day-to-day use of the Western Arkansas Running Club, a non profit organization, located in Chaffee on Taylor Ave, along with our weekly sponsored runs and events for runners.   Western Arkansas Runners- WAR- supports Runners and Walkers of all ages and gender and live by the motto "No Runners Left Behind".  If you are unable to run/walk but are interested in volunteering or would like to make a donation please contact the race director : Sheri Nicholls @ brentmorrisonmemorial@gmail.com.  You will run the certified course, chosen to be part of the 2026 Arkansas Grand Prix as a Championship Race our start/finish line will be official as construction at the clinic has been completed. Millburn Short Hills Chamber of Commerce President's Cup Presented by RWJ Barnabas Health

Fast 4 mile race filled with history!
 Clarksville is home to the Johnson County Peach Festival. Starting in 1938. It is a nearly week long event (starts on a Tuesday and ends on Saturday) and attracts visitors from all over the country. Activities and events include Barbershop chorus, gospel music, good ol' home cookin, handmade arts and crafts, street dance, frog jumping contest, terrapin derby, greased pig chase, a 4-mile run, parade, jam and jelly bake-off and of course peach and peach cobbler eating contests. 
Race History: The Johnson County Peach Fest 4 miler started in 1979. This will be the inaugural year for the race in the Arkansas Grand Prix
Course Records: Male Overall: Tom Aspel- 18.53 (1982) Female Overall: Nancy Cunningham- 
 Course Description: The race will begin at the corner of N Cravens and W Main St. and Finish on N Cravens.
Awards will begin at 9:00a at the race finish line and be given for: Overall Male and Female Finishers, Masters, Grand Masters and Seniors as well as male and female age divisions 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Packet pick up will be the morning of the race beginning at 5:30a-6:45a at the Finish line on N Cravens with the race starting promptly at 7a to beat the heat!

PLEASE NOTE: This race is open to all types of runners and all age groups! Teams for the USATF-NJ 1 Mile Team Championship competition will be declared using the normal process.  That is, team captains will submit their rosters by e-mail to the timing company (CompuScore in this case) and to the USATF-NJ LDR Committee the day before the race.  USATF-NJ will send out e-mail early next week announcing the race and providing the details for the roster submission process. TEAMS
Teams for the High School and Middle School Mile, the Community and Youth Mile and the Fitness Team Mile are created via the Big Bang Mile race website.  Click on the "More" menu option and then on the appropriate team category.   There is no fee for creating a team.   The person who creates a team is the team's captain.   Only registered runners can be added to a team.
Team must have a minimum of 3 contestants.
To encourage family teams in the Fitness Team Mile, we allow a contestant to "double dip" by competing for a team in the Family category as well as a team in another Fitness Team Mile category.
Teams for the USATF-NJ Long Distance Running Grand Prix are handled through a separate process that is administered by USATF-NJ.
<h4 style="text-align:center">AWARDS</h4>
Open Runner Awards     The top 3 USATF-NJ runners in each of the Open Men and Open Women Mile races will be awarded cash: $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place and $75 for 3rd place.
If the first non-USATF-NJ finisher in the Open Men or Open Women heat places among the top 3 finishers in that heat, that person will receive $100 in cash.
To score for a USATF-NJ Open team, the individual needs to have been identified in the respective team submission(s) to Compuscore (the scoring company) and USATF-NJ. These submissions are anticipated to be due via email by 6 PM on Friday, July 17.
Masters (age 40+) Runner Awards   The top 3 USATF-NJ masters men and masters women based on age grading among the 3 Masters Men heats and 2 Masters Women heats, respectively, will be awarded cash: $150 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place and $75 for 3rd place.
If the top age grading masters male or masters female among all non-USATF-NJ finishers in the 3 Masters Men heats or 2 Masters Women heats places among the top 3 age graders for their gender, that person will receive $100 in cash.
To score for a USATF-NJ Masters team, the individual needs to have been identified in the respective team submission(s) to Compuscore (the scoring company) and USATF-NJ. These submissions are anticipated to be due via email by 6 PM on Friday, July 17.  
Age Group Awards   For any runners (USATF-NJ Member or not), as an individual to be eligible for the Age Group awards, you must run in the Race for your respective Age.   Age Groups (Male and Female) are for the Top 3 (Male and Female) for ages 18-29, and 5-year age groups from 30 through 79, and 80+.   *Age Group awards are custom designed medals and will be given out on race day during the Awards ceremony.   Bonus Cash Awards   $200 Cash Bonus for a winning time under 4:10 for the men or under 4:50 for the women.   Any open finisher in the top 3 who is not a USATF-NJ member will be eligible for a cash award ($100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd and $50 for 3rd for both men and women). *It is anticipated that the Cash awards will be given out on race day at the Awards Ceremony.

<h4 style="text-align:center">THE STORY BEHIND THE BIG BANG MILE</h4>
The Bell Works building was once a primary location for Bell Laboratories.  “Bell Labs” attracted top-notch scientists to conduct basic research that might advance telephony.  Two such scientists, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson, studied radio signals from space in support of the Telstar project.  In 1964, to their surprise, they observed a background noise coming from every direction in the sky.  Wherever they pointed their radio telescope, they measured the same frequency and strength of microwave radiation.  Puzzled, Penzias and Wilson conferred with colleagues.  Princeton University astronomer Robert Dicke revealed they had found evidence for the Big Bang.  This is a theory that the universe started with an explosion 13.8 billion years ago.  For their important contribution to science, Penzias and Wilson were awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1978.
The radio telescope used by Penzias and Wilson still stands today.  It is located on top of Crawford Hill, about 2 miles northwest of the Bell Works facility.  A nearby plaque explains its significance.  It is worth a visit.  In fact, Holmdel Township has purchased the 30 acres that surround the antenna and will convert it into Dr. Robert Wilson Park.
The Shore Athletic Club, New Jersey's oldest running club, dedicates the Big Bang Mile Race to scientists everywhere.  We hope that runners draw inspiration from this story to learn more about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and perhaps even pursue a STEM career.  Aim high!

Big Bang Mile and Science Festival

The <a href="https://www.annapolisstriders.org/dog-days-8k-cross-country-run/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dog Days Cross Country Run</a> is traditionally held the first Sunday in August. The race utilizes the Earl Scott Trail, named after the former AACC groundskeeper, AACC cross country coach, longtime Annapolis Striders member, and Dog Days Race Director.
This race is the fifth leg of the Annapolis Striders Championship series and is part of the <a href="https://maryland-rrca.org/md-grand-prix-series/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Maryland/DC RRCA Grand Prix Series</a>.

<h5>Join us for the 8th Annual DV8K Life Changing Run on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. at Keeneland Racecourse.</h5>
The race will feature our signature 8K (4.97 miles), a 4K (2.5 miles) run/walk, and Kids' 1/4 Mile Dash. The races will cover much of the scenic Keeneland grounds. Run or walk the 4K with strollers welcomed. The 8K is a double loop course and only for runners who can maintain a 15 minute/mile pace.
We also have a Virtual Runner/Walker category for those who want to support the race and cause, but who cannot join us in person. Register as a virtual runner/walker, and we'll mail your race packet (bib & race shirt), and you can run/walk your own DV8K or 4K on your own timeline anywhere in the world.
The 2026 DV8K Run will raise funds to further DV8's mission of employing and empowering people in early stages of addiction recovery.

FORM A LIFE-CHANGING TEAM AND SAVE!
Form a Life-Changing Team of 5 or more runners/walkers, and you can all SAVE $3 on your individual registrations. Teams can be as large as you want.
It's simple to CREATE A TEAM when you register. Give yourself a TEAM NAME (the more creative, the better!) and invite your friends, family, running buddies, or co-workers to join your team. When they register (after you), they will be able to select your team from a list of existing teams. For the team pricing, the first 4 members of a team will pay full price. The 5th person joining + anyone joining the team afterward will pay the current registration fee with a $3 discount. When the 5th person joins to fully consummate a 5 person team, the first 4 registrants will each be refunded $3 on their credit card. Team members can be participating in any of our four events: the 8K, 4K, 1K Kids' Dash, or Virtual Run/Walk. If you want to create a password to be shared and used when your team members join the team, that is allowed (but not required). There will be no formal competition between the teams other than our recognizing the largest team, but this gives you a way to save and get your friends and family involved in this fun race.

DV8K Life Changing Run (8K & 4K)

The course is a beautiful, flat 2-mile loop on the Bonneville Salt Flats - the fastest speedway on earth - on which you (Ultra) or your relay team of 4, 6, or 8 will see how many miles you can run from dusk to dawn (~11 hours). You will run directly on the salt overnight under the stars, from sunset to sunrise. The team who runs the most miles in each team category wins a trophy!​​​​
For your non-runner family and friends who still want to come and enjoy the night and support you - get a Party Supporter wristband!
In order for your final lap to count, you must finish it by sunrise. Otherwise, you make your own strategy. Decide who will run when, how many laps, who will start, finish, etc. It's up to you! Get together and figure out how you can run the most miles from dusk to dawn.
Enjoy all-night activities such as an ultimate scavenger hunt or tours of the cosmos from a local astronomy club, win awesome giveaway prizes, and enjoy a pancake breakfast for charity at the end of the race.

Dusk to Dawn Relay + Ultra 2026

The Farm To Farm Ultra Run is held on a looped course in Freeport, Maine on the Wolfe's Neck Center & Freeport Conservation Trust trails, but also includes four virtual options: 5 miles, 10 miles, 30 miles, and 50 miles. This event is part of the Maine Track Club Grand Prix Series, and participants are allowed to earn points for one virtual event in addition to or instead of the in-person race. If you intend to do both in-person and virtual, you must register separately for each event.

The entry fee for each virtual event is $25, with no t-shirt included.
If you would like a shirt, please contact us! They are 15$ for local pickup (greater Portland area) or 20$ to ship. 
 
Participant will have from Sep. 14 2026 to Oct. 12 2026 (Indigenous Peoples' Day) to complete their chosen distance(s) and submit results.

Farm to Farm Ultra

The Southern Utah Triathlon is a great race held at Quail Creek Reservoir. This location is only 10 mins away from locations like St George, Hurricane and Sandhollow Reservoir. This is a great Sprint Course and the Olympic is done in a F1 Format meaning that the Sprint it repeated. This course is not easy but beautiful.
